Although I’m still in the pro-AI camp, I think the AI BS detector has to come out more often. I believe Microsoft is making some important advancements in this area. But the deck I review in this video makes some pretty…aspirational…claims 👀. Frankly they’re proposing that AI may help solve problems that are well within our reach to solve without any technology at all.
Agree that these claims are a bit too bold and overpromise what AI can/will do. Good to know the pain points they're hoping to contribute to -- and AI can contribute to some of these things -- but humans need to solve for so many org design/culture issues before throwing tech at them.
What they could do...
Step 1: Read Brave New Work
Step 2: Do the stuff in that book
Step 3: Ask AI what it can do to help you from there!
